For a limited time, you can download two holiday songs recorded by Barry. Barry's own First Christmas, and Barry's version of the Rob Mathes classic "Star Bright", recorded at Cool Blue Studio with Paul Kinsman on piano.

As Barry continues to work out of Toronto, slowly but surely writing for the new album, there are a few updates.:

November 15th: Toronto's Company Theatre Season launch and fundraising party for the 2007 season.

Court House Chamber Lounge, 57 Adelaide Street East, Toronto. Doors open at 6:30 pm.

The evening will be hosted by Canada AM's, Seamus O'Regan, who along with Great Big Sea's Alan Doyle will host an intimate acoustic performance featuring, Damhnait Doyle (Shaye), Barry Canning, Brian Byrne, and Canadian Idol runner-up, Rex Goudie.

There will be a great silent and live auction, with all sorts of great stuff. Please see attached poster for details. Ticket's are $40 (Advance), $50 (door), and advance tickets are only available through e-mail or phone order. Please contact

Barry and the band will once again perform at the Delta St. John's this New Year's Eve along with the 8 Track Favourites and Billy and the Bruisers. Ticket's will go on sale at the Delta in November.


We are excited to announce that Barry has been nominated for five 2004 MIANL Awards. The awards show will be held in St. John’s on November 14 at The Arts and Culture Center.
